As a real estate professional, Continuing Education is required by the state to maintain your license. Select Real Estate school offers courses to help fulfill the following requirements:

  • Each Real Estate licensee who holds an active license shall complete during the two (2)-year license period prior to renewal a minimum of twelve (12) hours of real estate instruction approved for continuing education credit by the Missouri Real Estate Commission.
  • At least three (3) of the twelve (12) hours of approved instruction shall be taken in a course approved by the Missouri Real Estate Commission as core credit.

Students who pursue their ABR® will gain a unique understanding of home buyer’s needs and how to best serve them, specialized information to stay on top of home buying issues and trends, and exclusive resources to share with your clients and give you even more of a competitive edge.  

Earning this Designation requires an application, documentation of five closed buyers represented transactions, the completion of one additional National Association of REALTORS® supplemental/elective course (see below) and professional REALTOR® membership. 



At Home with Diversity

The course work for the At Home with Diversity® certification is designed to enable you to work successfully with and within a rapidly changing multicultural market. AHWD® will help you learn diversity sensitivity, how to apply fair housing laws in your business, and ways to develop professional guidelines for working with people in this increasingly multicultural real estate market. 

Earning the certification requires successful completion of the one-day program, an application, one-time fee of $75, and professional REALTOR® membership. *This certification program satisfies the elective course requirement to become an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®).
